Acoustical Masterpiece

After completing an extensive refit of the original hotel and casino, Peninsula Wall + Ceiling was awarded the contract for the new, state of the art “Hotel at River Rock”. Peninsula Wall + Ceiling constructed all of the exterior and interior steel stud framing, light structural steel framing, acoustics, ceilings, dormers and soffits. We installed the drywall, complete with the highest quality level 5 finishing.

What was amazing about this project, aside from the exceptionally finished look, was the acoustical integrity of the interior spaces, achieved through unique wall and ceiling construction assemblies designed to shield guests from the almost constant noise from low flying jets approaching the very nearby Vancouver International Airport. From inside the hotel, you would never know that you are that close to all that air traffic! We are acoustical and speciality construction experts.

This project was another successful collaboration with General Contractor: Graham Construction.
